7-a-side matches (Team size: 7 players minimum, 14 players maximum)
Outdoor tournament for airline employees and friends

Win – 3 points
Tie – 1 Point
Loss – 0 Points

Summary of Playing Rules

PLAYERS
Teams will play with seven (7) players. One must be designated as goalkeeper. Five (5) players are required to start the game. Teams are to provide the referees with a lineup card before the game. Blank lineup cards are available to team captains. FULL ROSTER TEAMS (14 Players) CANNOT modify or add players to teams during the tournament, the roster submitted before the first game shall serve as the FINAL tournament roster. Teams with incomplete rosters may add member to their roster prior to playoff games. Any team found in violation of this rule will forfeit their place in the tournament.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitution is free and can be made during any stoppage of play. All players MUST enter and leave the field at the centerline and can only enter once the referee beckons them onto the field. The Offside rule is WAIVED. Goalkeepers, like other players, can be substituted on the fly as described above.

PLAYERS’ EQUIPMENT
All players must wear the same-colored shirts. Numbers are required and are expected to coincide with what is written on the lineup sheet. The home team is the first listed on the schedule and must change shirts if there is a color conflict. All players are encouraged to wear shin guards.

GAMES
Series games, playoff games, quarter and semi-finals games will consist of two 15-minute halves. The final match will consist of two 20-minute halves. The home team has the choice of ends and benches. The visiting team kicks off.

PUTTING THE BALL INTO PLAY
Throw-ins are optional, when the ball goes out of touch on the sideline the ball may be thrown in or kicked in. All free kicks, goal kicks, corner kicks, kick in and the kickoffs are direct. The ball must be put into play within 5 seconds of the time that the referee deems it ready to be played.

FIFA rules apply. (Pass back)

EJECTIONS
Any player or coach sent off will automatically sit out his team’s next game. Any player or coach sent off for Violent Conduct will sit out their team’s next two games. A second ejection for fighting will result in that person sitting out the rest of the tournament. A player who is ejected must leave the bench area. If that player continues to be a problem while sitting in the park, he must leave the area.
ALL DECISIONS MADE BY THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE ARE FINAL.
